Pick a time What to expect

What the assessment is, and what it isn’t.

What happens in the 45 minutes.

  1. Where you stand

    Your situation

Your DRS plan, deferred comp, years of service, and the date you’ve been circling. Rough numbers are fine.

  2. Where you want to be

    Your goals

When you’d like to stop working, what you want retirement to look like, and what matters most to you along the way.

  3. What’s in the way

    The decisions

The pension option, health coverage until Medicare, Social Security timing, taxes. We name the ones that matter for you and the order they come in.

It’s a good fit if you

  • Work in Washington public service and plan to retire in the next one to three years.
  • Have a pension, deferred comp, or both, and want to know you’re making the right calls.
  • Want a CPA looking at the tax side, not just the investments.

You’ll leave with

  • A clearer picture of the decisions in front of you and which ones come first.
  • A straight answer on whether working together makes sense.
  • No commitment. You’ll know whether we’re a fit before you sign on to anything.

Common questions.

Is it really free?

Yes. There’s no charge for the assessment and no obligation afterward.

Is this a sales call?

No. It’s an honest conversation about your situation. If working together makes sense, I’ll tell you what that would look like. If it doesn’t, I’ll tell you that too.

Do I need to prepare anything?

No. Come as you are. If you have a recent DRS pension estimate handy, it helps us get specific faster, but it isn’t required.

Do I have to move my investments to work with you?

No. The One-Time Plan and Ongoing Plan don’t require it. Wealth Management is there if you want me to manage them.

What does it cost if we work together?

The One-Time Plan starts at $3,000, the Ongoing Plan at $6,500 a year, and Wealth Management is 0.85% to 0.65% of managed assets. You’ll get a quote before any work begins. See the services.

What if I need to reschedule?
